I hold professional certifications in ServiceNow, Scrum, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM), equipping me with a robust toolkit to navigate and lead high-impact initiatives. My expertise extends beyond the technical aspects of program management; I excel in content development, ensuring that every project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. I have experience managing large events.
In addition, I am adept at fostering strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating clear communication, and aligning project goals with broader business objectives. Tara Torkelson

Principal Consultant - Content Development and Event Management

Formerly, Director of Content Development & Delivery, Twilio, Content and Event Management, ServiceNow, Partner Enablement at HPE.  During my career I have led a high-performing team of training operations and technology specialists dedicated to enhancing global sales enablement efforts. My roles have encompassed a broad range of responsibilities, from managing analytics and developing standard operating procedures to overseeing procurement, vendor management, and inventory management.

I have managed teams for hyper growth organizations that played a crucial role in supporting the global Sales Enablement team by delivering both virtual and in-person professional skills training. I spearheaded the development, support, and delivery of these training programs, ensuring they met the highest standards of excellence.

My tenure involved overseeing the entire content development lifecycle. Building and introducing governance documents, detailed reporting metrics, and a comprehensive guides such as, SKO Facilitator Guides, Content Creation Guides, ILT Facilitator and Student Guides.. By eliminating process redundancies and enhancing operational efficiencies, I streamlined request intake, content migration, and the Quarterly Enablement Plan processes.

A key aspect of my role was collaborating cross-functionally to foster change adoption and drive global program enablement. I engaged with stakeholders at all organizational levels, implemented cutting-edge enablement technologies such as digital badging and AI simulations, and played a pivotal role in launching the SOAR sales skills program.

With over 20 + years of experience as an accomplished Art Director and Visual Communicator, I have consistently driven corporate performance through the strategic integration of brand, business, and creative solutions. My expertise spans across print and multimedia design within the technology and retail industries, where I have mastered the art of translating complex business requirements into compelling, high-impact solutions.
A key aspect of my previous roles have involved onsite production for various Sales Kickoff’s (SKO), where I directed all facets of event production, including designing the Onsite Partner Promenade and crafting digital visual designs. My work also encompassed the direction of multimedia projects, where I orchestrated digital marketing and advertising productions across print, video, and digital platforms. This experience highlighted my ability to effectively merge creative strategies with business goals.
My specialty in storyboarding motion graphics, user interface design, and corporate mark and identity guidelines allowed me to develop innovative print collateral and design immersive event experiences. I excelled in creating governance documents, reporting metrics, and streamlined operational workflows, including transitioning manual processes to automated systems to enhance efficiency.

I possess a deep understanding of web development and multimedia creation, which enhances my ability to design and develop content that is both functional and visually compelling. My experience also includes comprehensive work with Learning Management Systems and project management, ensuring seamless integration and execution of educational and organizational initiatives.

My extensive background in video production, instructional design, and sales enablement is complemented by my proficiency in enhancing learning experiences through technology and adaptive learning techniques.
